Tamagotchi Paradise Zooms Out to the Galaxy With Neon Planets
Bandai's new Tamagotchi Paradise model adds a galaxy level and three planets to switch between, and it's out in the US on 21 November at $44.99.
Out in the US Sat 21 Nov

The Tamagotchi Paradise zoom dial goes one notch further on Neon Planets. The original Paradise zooms from space down to the cells, and Bandai says the new model adds a Tama Galaxy level on top, with a Planet Switch feature for moving between three planets: Cosmic Planet, New Tamagotchi Planet for the popular Paradise Tamas, and Tamagotchi Planet for the nostalgic ones.
Bandai Japan ties that last planet to the 30th anniversary, so the classic characters can be raised inside Paradise. The usual care is still there, feeding, cleaning up poop and treating sick cells, plus a Lab Mode with mini-games and a shop. You can dock with a friend's device for connection play, where a compatible pair has a child, and there are new mini-games to play with or against each other. Bandai Japan counts more than 50,000 variations to raise.
Bandai's US page gives an MSRP of $44.99 for ages 6 and up, with nine languages including English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. It takes two AAA batteries, which aren't included. According to The Pop Insider, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America confirmed at New York Comic Con that it reaches major US retailers on 21 November, with pre-orders open on Amazon.
Japan gets it the same day at ¥6,380, along with a Premium Set that includes an official Paradise case. Neither Bandai UK nor the UK Tamagotchi site lists it yet.
The day after the US launch, Tamagotchi marks its 30th anniversary with a free Times Square takeover in New York, from 9am to 7pm on 22 November.
