Out Thu 29 Oct
Hello Kitty Party Land comes out on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday 29 October. Bandai Namco is publishing it, and Sanrio calls it the first console game from Sanrio Games.
The cast is large. Bandai Namco counts over 145 Sanrio characters and 16 partner characters, with Gudetama, Little Twin Stars and Pompompurin among those in the trailers alongside Hello Kitty.
The Game Park is the competitive part, with three board games and more than 45 mini-games between them. Elsewhere in the park you can dress up in the Shopping Mall, grow fruit and vegetables or go fishing on the Sky Farm, where there is also a mysterious cave to explore, and draw, make music or do puzzles in the Creative Labo. A Photo Studio and sticker books round it off.
You can play alone or with up to four people, either on one console or online. Online play needs a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
In the UK, Nintendo's eShop has both versions on pre-order at £44.99. In the US, the eShop price is $49.99 for each, and Bandai Namco's own US store sells a Day 1 Edition at $49.99 and a Premium Edition at $69.99.
That's over 160 characters waiting for a turn in the Photo Studio.
