Starface Puts Hello Kitty in a Blind Box for Your Breakouts
Starface's Big Hello Kitty Mystery Compact hides one of four Hello Kitty pimple patch designs inside a sealed box, at £12.99 in the UK and $16.99 in the US.
Starface has brought back its Hello Kitty collaboration, and this time it comes as a blind box. The Big Hello Kitty Mystery Compact holds a refillable compact and 32 matching hydrocolloid pimple patches, in one of four designs you can't pick in advance.
Starface lists the four possibilities by the bow. Big Flower Hello Kitty wears a pink flower headband. Big Pink Hello Kitty has a light pink bow, Big Blue Hello Kitty a light blue one, and Big Red Hello Kitty comes with little red heart clips. In Starface's photos, each compact is a soft square case with Hello Kitty's face printed on the lid in the matching colour.
Starface describes the patches as 100% hydrocolloid, which it says is clinically proven to absorb fluid and help reduce redness.
It costs £12.99 from Starface's UK store and $16.99 from its US store. Both list it as one mystery compact plus 32 limited-edition patches, and both had it in stock at the time of writing.
If you land the wrong colour, the compact is refillable, so at least the case sticks around longer than the patches do.
