The Apothecary Diaries' Maomao Gets Her Own Licca-chan Doll, Freckles and Bandage Included
Takara Tomy's Maomao Licca went on sale in Japan on 24 October at ¥5,500, with releases planned for the US and Canada.

Licca-chan, Takara Tomy's dress-up doll, has become Maomao, the heroine of The Apothecary Diaries. The Maomao Licca went on sale in Japan on Saturday 24 October at ¥5,500, and Takara Tomy Mall, the company's own online shop, already shows it as out of stock.
It is the first collaboration between Licca-chan and the anime. Takara Tomy says the doll recreates Maomao's freckles, the bandage on her left arm, her hairstyle and her outfit. The hair is a colour Licca has never used before, with beaded hair parts, and her eyes are a calm blue chosen to suit the character.
In the box are the doll, a hair ornament, a jacket, a skirt, shoes, underwear and the bandage, which is a separate piece.
Takara Tomy plans to sell the doll in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, the US and Canada, with stock arriving in each market in turn. It hasn't given a date or retailer for North America. Licca-chan herself launched there in March 2026, and her North American site lists shops including BoxLunch, Hot Topic, Miniso and animate USA. The Maomao doll isn't on that site yet.
The doll arrives during the anime's third season, which began airing in Japan on 2 October. The series' first film opens in Japanese cinemas on 11 December. Takara Tomy says the books have sold more than 57 million copies worldwide, and that Takara Tomy Arts' Apothecary Diaries gacha sold out early at Anime Expo 2026.
Takara Tomy Mall limits buyers to three dolls per person or household, and only ships within Japan.
