Scotland Loves Anime Brings Ninja Scroll in 4K to London for Four Days
The festival's London leg runs at Picturehouse Central from 12 to 15 November 2026, with nine films including A Silent Voice and the new 4K restoration of Ninja Scroll.

Scotland Loves Animation, the festival that runs Scotland Loves Anime in Glasgow and Edinburgh each autumn, is also bringing a programme to London this year. The London leg runs at Picturehouse Central, just off Piccadilly Circus, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2026, between the Glasgow dates (6 to 8 November) and Edinburgh (16 to 22 November).
The festival's London page lists nine screenings. It opens with Naoko Yamada's A Silent Voice at 19:20 on Thursday 12 November. Friday 13 November has three: A New Dawn at 18:00, Shingo Natsume's Ghost at 19:50 and the 4K restoration of Yoshiaki Kawajiri's Ninja Scroll at 20:10.
The weekend leans towards newer films and family titles. Saturday 14 November has The Keeper of the Camphor Tree at 12:00 and We Are Aliens at 15:00. Sunday 15 November has To You in the Beyond at 12:00, Samurai Ballerina at 14:50 and Poupelle of Chimney Town at 17:45.
Two of the Friday films are an early look at 2027 releases. Anime News Network reported on 26 October that Anime Limited plans UK cinema releases next year for both Ghost and the Ninja Scroll restoration, so London's screenings land well ahead of their wider runs.
Tickets are on sale through Picturehouse, with each film booked separately. The festival has not published ticket prices on its own site, so check Picturehouse's listing for the current price.
