Jackie Chan's surveillance thriller The Shadow's Edge arrives to rent or buy on US digital platforms on 3 November 2026. Radial Entertainment announced the date on 19 October, saying the film will be available "on all major platforms", and Shout! Studios has posted the official trailer.

According to Radial, a crew of criminal prodigies vanishes with billions and leaves the Macau police outmanoeuvred. They turn to a retired surveillance expert, played by Chan, who builds an elite unit to track down the mastermind known as The Shadow. Tony Leung Ka-fai, of Prison on Fire and A Better Tomorrow III, plays the man they are chasing.

Larry Yang directs. He previously made Ride On, the 2023 comedy drama in which Chan played an ageing stuntman and his horse. Radial promises car chases and "jaw-dropping fight choreography", and the trailer suggests the 70-something star is still happy to take a punch for the camera.

ComingSoon reports that Zhang Zifeng plays He Qiuguo, a rookie officer who joins the investigation, and that Wen Junhui plays Hu Feng. Wen is better known to K-pop fans as Jun of SEVENTEEN, and he also appears alongside Sammo Hung in Go For Broke 2.

If you prefer your Chan vintage, Eureka's 4K restoration of Wheels on Meals lands later in November. For a newer case, The Shadow's Edge is the one to rent.
