Chen Sicheng's Traces of Justice Opens in UK Cinemas This Week
Trinity CineAsia brings the Chinese forensic crime drama to UK and Irish cinemas on 6 November, with Zhang Yi leading a cast that includes Karry Wang and Fan Chengcheng.

Trinity CineAsia opens Chen Sicheng's Traces of Justice in UK and Irish cinemas on 6 November 2026. The Chinese forensic crime drama is certified 15, runs 140 minutes and is in Mandarin.
According to Trinity, the story follows Cui Xun from the 1970s onward as he works with a forensic pathologist and a detective on serious crimes across five decades. With forensic methods still young, he leans on bite marks, fragments and other physical traces. Zhang Yi leads the cast, with Ma Li, Cheng Minghao, Karry Wang, Fan Chengcheng, Chen Feiyu and Li Xuejian also listed.
Trinity's synopsis says the film is based on high-profile cases and inspired by a pioneering forensic scientist sometimes called the Sherlock Holmes of China's criminal investigation field. Far East Films reported the UK and Ireland date on 7 October, naming Trinity as distributor.
Showtimes are already up for London venues including Odeon Haymarket and several Vue sites. The evidence bag is small. The wait for a UK screen was not.
