adidas and BAPE are back together, and this time the Tokyo label has turned its camo on a basketball shoe. According to adidas, the collection lands on 7 November 2026 through the adidas CONFIRMED app, selected retailers, BAPE STORE and BAPE.COM, and it takes its cues from basketball and streetwear in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The shoe is the Crazy Energy+, one of adidas Basketball's newest performance models. adidas says BAPE has given it a metallic COLOR CAMO SILVER print all over, a knitted "WGM" (World Gone Mad) lace overlay and two sets of laces to swap between. adidas lists it at €200 in Germany and France.

The clothes lean purple, which adidas links to BAPE's COLOR CAMO from the brand's early-2000s heyday. There is a black varsity jacket with purple trim, gold studs and "World Gone Mad" in chenille on the back, a reversible mesh hoodie in purple COLOR CAMO with a shark face on the hood, and reversible Adibreak track trousers to match. A "World Gone Mad" warm-up top, a BABY MILO tee, a reversible beanie and a BABY MILO basketball bag fill out the range.

Jalen Williams fronts the campaign. BAPE was founded in Harajuku in 1993, and adidas notes the two brands last teamed up for football fans around last summer's tournament.

adidas UK lists the shoe on its release calendar without a price so far, so check the CONFIRMED app before 7 November. A shoe that shiny is going to be hard to keep clean on court.
